Orders and shipping

Are your pieces made to order?
Yes. Every Avédon piece is printed on demand after you order it. We don't hold stock in a warehouse.

How long until my order ships?
Production takes 2-7 business days. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

How much is shipping, and how long does delivery take?
US orders ship by USPS for a flat $8.49 and usually arrive 3-7 business days after shipping.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, for a flat $25. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT) when it reaches your country. Those charges are the customer's responsibility.

My order arrived damaged, defective or wrong. What do I do?
Check your order when it arrives and email avedoninc@gmail.com right away with your order number and a photo of the item. We'll look at it and make it right.

Returns, refunds and exchanges

What is your return policy?
You have 30 days after your item arrives to request a return. The item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

How do I start a return?
Email avedoninc@gmail.com with your order number. Once your return is approved, we'll email you a return shipping label and the address to send it to. Items sent back without an approved return request can't be accepted.

Who pays for return shipping?
The cost of the return shipping label is deducted from your refund. If the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong, email us first and we'll sort it out with you.

What can't be returned?
Sale items and gift cards can't be returned. Items that are worn, used, or missing their tags or original packaging aren't eligible.

When will I get my refund?
We'll let you know once we've received and inspected your return, and whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card company may take a little longer to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, email avedoninc@gmail.com.

Can I exchange for a different size or design?
The fastest way is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, place a new order for the one you want.

I'm in the European Union. Do I have extra rights?
Yes. If your order ships to the EU, you can cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, without giving a reason. The item must be in the same condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Products, sizing and care

Are your pieces numbered or limited editions?
No. Our designs are printed to order, so there are no numbered editions or edition cards.

What are the shirts made of?
All our tees, long sleeves and sweaters are 100% cotton. Fabric weight depends on the piece: heavyweight tees and long sleeves are 330 g/m² (9.7 oz/yd²), the Contrast Stripe Sweater is 380 g/m² (11.2 oz/yd²), and midweight tees are 190 g/m² (5.6 oz/yd²). Each product page lists its fabric.

What sizes do you carry?
Our apparel uses unisex sizing. Most pieces come in S to 2XL; some heavyweight tees also come in XS, and the sweater comes in S to XL. Each product page lists its sizes. Not sure which size to pick? Email avedoninc@gmail.com with your height and usual size.

How should I wash my Avédon piece?
Machine wash cold (30°C) on gentle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron low, avoiding the print. Do not dry clean.

What are the posters printed on?
Museum-grade 175 gsm matte archival paper with pigment inks. Frames are not included. Sizes are listed on each poster's page.
